Dining
There’s all sorts of food to eat at St. Augustine Beach, from Asian sushi to Mexican tacos, which I both love. Here are my top three Restaurants!
3rd, Beachcomber
Where A street meets the Beach
Beachcomber is a great place for dinner, and that’s not just because it’s on the beach (because it is). There’s a wide range of food to get, from burgers to tacos. And if you bring your dogs to dinner, they have a couple options of food, too! They can text you when your table is ready, too, so after you put your name in, you can take a nice relaxing stroll on the beach while you wait.
2nd, Bai Thong Thai Sushi
Winn-Dixie Plaza, A1A S
Sushi is my absolute FAVORITE food. And this is my favorite place to get it. It has sushi (of course), fried rice, salad, and so much more. And if you want to go big, you could get a boat of tons of sushi and sashimi. And there’s never a lot of people there, so you don’t really have to worry about loud crowds or long waits for food.
1st, Taco Libre
Publix plaza, between A1A S and A1A beach boulevard
Sushi may be my favorite food, but I love this place more than any sushi restaurant. This is the perfect place for Taco Tuesday. My family and some friends go every Tuesday around the same time and we get seated right away (and we’re usually a party of eleven). The food is simply sublime. It has low prices of burritos on Monday and a dollar off tacos on Tuesday. And after you’ve had your fill, there are a few dessert places in the plaza. Plus, there’s trivia night every Monday!
Activities
3rd, Fiesta Falls mini golf
818 St. Augustine Beach Boulevard
It may be a little expensive, but I love going. My brother and I always compete with each other over the best holes. And after you’re done, you can treat yourself to some of their soft-serve ice cream (or before, it doesn’t matter).
2nd, Walk/bike around
There’s tons to do and see in St. Aug beach. there’s a sculpture garden, a library, and a good amount of ice cream shops, too. Whether you walk in the morning or bike in the afternoon (or vice versa), there is a lot to do. you could do it on the highway, the backstreets, or the beach. I recommend not doing it during the hours of eleven to one, as that is the time it’s the hottest and there’s the least shade.
1st, The BEACH!!!
This is a Florida default. Everyone will go to the beach sometime on their vacation. Whether you are there to swim, dig, beachcomb, or walk, there’s so much that can happen. You might see dolphins. You might find a jellyfish. You might, if you are exceedingly lucky, find a huge shark tooth in the sand! No matter what you do there, you’re bound to make at least one cool memory. We always bring a couple of buckets, a shovel, some beach chairs, and an umbrella or beach tent.
